Support/Hourly - Position - Campus Technology Manager
The primary responsibility of the
Campus Technology Manager
is to serve as the on-site resource person to support AISD’s instructional technology.
High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Preferred hours of college to include at least two computer courses.
Good organizational skills.
Willingness to work with children, school personnel and community.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Two years experience working with computers or computer college courses.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Work with the principal, teachers, curriculum coordinators, and cluster instructional technology specialist to maximize computer effectiveness in the school.
Create and maintain records of building hardware and software as required by the principal and the director of instructional technology.
Inventory all AISD instructional software.
File software licenses.
Make available to the teachers the resources needed to use technology to teach.
Coordinate training with the cluster instructional technology specialist for teachers, other campus technology managers, staff, students and volunteers on new programs, new equipment and technology.
Prepare or review annual budget for campus computer supplies and software.
Preview and evaluate software for technical merit and adaptability.
Provide user information about software for campus personnel and students.
Maintain an operational computer lab(s) and classroom technology equipment.
Assist teachers with hardware maintenance and minor troubleshooting.
Report and maintain records of repairs of equipment.
Coordinate with building personnel in the development of the computer lab schedule; post the current schedule, and file past schedules.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the principal, executive director of curriculum, and the director of instructional technology.
