Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. Degree in Special Education or related field is required. Prefer minimum of ten years of successful experience in special education or related field, including administrative responsibilities. Requires working knowledge of classroom instruction for the foundations of reading and math. Support directors of Regional Day School Programs for the Deaf (RDSPD). Must have broad working knowledge of current laws, rules, and guidance regarding the education and provision of instruction for students with disabilities and learning difficulties. Requires ability to interpret and implement policies and procedures; proficiency in the use of digital communication venues; and strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
