Responsible for hands-on knowledge and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and septic systems. Duties include changing AC filters on rooftop and wall units, programming individual AC thermostats, understanding and monitoring HVAC computerized control systems (Trane Tracker and Johnson Controls), septic system alarm and disinfection systems, septic sprinkler systems, and irrigation systems for sports fields. Ability to schedule and manage periodic preventive maintenance schedules.
Ability to organize and manage periodic preventive maintenance schedules for a multi-building school campus of approximately 150,000 sq ft.
Must be able to work as part of a team, under a director, and alongside other maintenance dept. employees. Must have some computer experience and be able to operate basic software programs such as simple spreadsheets and word processing, and work with various online programs and computerized systems.
